Tell Me Thursday

Tell Me Thursday 12-8

1. What blogging tip would you give other dog-bloggers?
Maybe don’t assume everyone is using the same platform you are? I don’t know!

2. If you were going to be stranded on a deserted island and could take five things with you (aside from the clothes on your back), what would they be?
Knife, Water (or something to hold water), Kindle, pen & paper (that counts as one, right?), and a dog.

Not sure which dog. Kim would be the best hunter, but she’s far too regal to live without her home comforts. Mollie is snuggley and warm and she’d kick ass hunting, but I wouldn’t trust her not to just eat everything herself. Dylan is kind of useless. He could … round things up? Non-scary things? I think Rio would be having too much fun to worry about being stranded, probably not that helpful.

3. How much pain are you willing to endure in the name of physical appearance? Do you have painful things done to enhance beauty?
I will endure very little, I don’t do unnecessary pain. I pull out grey hairs, which I do get occasionally, that’s always painful (mentally as well as physically, makes me feel stressed and old).

4. Speed limits… how fast do you drive? Do you drive Miss Daisy? Do you do the Indy 500 to work?
Too fast. Slower now I have the big Kangoo to drive, I miss my little Clio in the corners. There is one corner coming home from agility, a really sharp right hand bend off a steep hill, I used to be able to whip round there in the Clio. Figured I should slow down a bit for the Kangoo and still freaked out as I thought it was going to tip over. I go slowly round that corner now, not half so much fun.

5. What trial (that you go to) is your favorite, and why?
I love the HnH Northern Festival of Agility at Redcar. Agility + Beach = Awesome. Everything about it is lovely; the venue, the Hare’n’Hounds crew, the camping, the walks, the beach across the road … love it. I really debated about going back this year because I did not love last year’s weather, but I really want to take Rio to the beach and I have a feeling it’s going to be a warm spring (I’ll regret saying that), so maybe I will go.
