Winter is Coming

There is a definite chill in the air. There was some pretty morning frost on the ground today, which was nice to look at but a bit too cold for me. We seem have have skipped straight through summer and autumn into winter, it’s been an odd year for the weather.

Ri and I have still having fun at agility. She’s certainly a wild child, but her foundation training is transferring to the equipment nicely. She’s jumping at Small height at the moment, bouncing everything and looking very confident in her jumping which I’m happy about! I’ve been so conscious about doing lots of gridwork after Dylan, and it seems to be paying off so far.

I’m going to move her up to Medium for wing wraps next week, since I’m really happy with how she’s working on this at Small height, she’s nailing it 100% of the time now. We won’t go up to Medium for general basic sequences for another month or so, maybe, and even then I’ll keep changing it up for a while longer.

No flyball this week since the field is waterlogged, but I’m hoping to build a chute tomorrow, so we can at least get started on some box work.
