Our first time at the famous indoor-turf Doncaster tournaments, and we had a fantastic day.<\/p>\n

\"Mollie<\/a>Mollie’s team, Night Owlers, ran their socks off and finished a very respectable 3rd in Division 5, setting a new seed time in the process. I was supposed to be boxloading for this team but in the end I boxloaded for the less-experienced Eagle Owlers team, who finished in last place in Division 5 but certainly didn’t give up without a fight!<\/p>\n

Kim’s team, Barking Owlers, were in Division 2 and I was really expecting us to be a bit outclassed, as all the other teams were running low 19 times, with a few having broken 19 seconds this summer. But we had some fantastic team racing, and won three of five races, and came home with a 3rd too. Kim was running brilliantly, I couldn’t have asked for more from her. I have to mention that my mum was running Jess as Craig unexpectedly couldn’t make it, and to say Jess has never done any training with her, they were both fantastic!<\/p>\n

It was a long day, as usual, and my tall boy stayed at home and helped with the decorating. Some sleepy dogs today!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
