Mollie Joint Care Trial: Final Feedback

Mollie’s Joint Care Trail finished a few weeks ago, and I’ve just sent in my final testamonial form.

In essence, there was absolutely no difference to Mollie’s mobility after 6 weeks on the Joint Care+ treats.

Mol only has slight joint stiffness, notably after a flyball tournament or intensive training session, which could be done to muscle fatigue as much as her joints. She’s slower on walks these days, electing to trot rather than race around at 100mph with Dylan and Rio, but she can still get a sprint on when she wants to.

Six weeks on the trial made no difference to her. She maintained the same level of joint stiffness in the same circumstances. It is probably important to note that we work hard to keep Mollie fit, lean, and healthy which will do more for her joints than anything else can. She’s nearly 13 years old and the only thing physically letting her down now is her eyesight (which is getting increasingly worse). She still goes on daily walks, still trains and competes, and she goes to hydrotherapy 2-3 times a month, which gives her am ‘extra’ joint-stress free exercise session. Keeping her muscle tone up and keeping her weight down is the best thing for her joints.

I think for someone on a budget, who doesn’t have a very active dog, then Joint Care+ might make a difference. But for everyone else, the adage that “you get what you pay for” is true. Spend more and get a proper supplement like Yumove.
