It’s been nearly 2 years since Mollie and Dylan last went to hydrotherapy. Mollie loves swimming more than she loves tennis balls, which is saying a lot! But Dylan hasn’t been since he was 8 months old and although he loved it then I wasn’t sure what he’d be like this time … well, no worries there! I’ve never seen him so excited, Mollie was barking her head off and Dylan was trembling before we let them go in.
They had a good session anyway. They spent about 15mins just playing and diving in and swimming about, and then Dylan spent just under 10mins swimming against the jets and Mollie did a little bit less because she’d worn herself out by that point.
Hopefully it’s going to be a monthly thing for them over the winter season as it’s fab for keeping them both toned up and happy. Kim doesn’t do swimming and I’m not sure she’d forgive me if I took her so this is a special collie thing for Mol and Dylan.

lol at Kim. Pip is the same. We go weekly for Mish mainly but get to swim a 2nd dog for the same price. I usually do Rex as he loves the water, but once I took Pip – she wasnt keen at all!
See you at lincoln hopefully!
Lol, glad they had a good time!!
Jetly was a bit of a wimp at first, she was swimming fine but just panicked when she couldn’t see the way out. Chip had to go on the washing line hehe….but he actually swam really well, bless him.
You should have seen Harvey! I think he should win the ‘Owlers swimmer of the year award, bless him – I don’t think Jess/Steve could get him out.
I wanted to ask you how Jet & Chip did! 😀 I heard Harvey was fab, and it sounds like Chip was a lot like Bertie.
Kim genuinely can’t swim, which is both hilarious and a bit sad. She either flails wildly whilst sinking or just stops moving and floats until she can stand up again!
See you at Lincoln Vicki! Kim’s first Grade 3 classes, think you’re going to have the edge on us … 😆
Mollie sounds like such a character! I love her! I’d quite like to try Morph at Hydro…not sure how he would take to it though…
